I am the Woman
That is Female
That is She
That is Child-Beariní hips
The fruit of my loins enters into
The World
And extends for generations
I was created to aid Creation
And Children are not my only art
I not only inspire
But I build from inspiration
I see the world from all sides
I can bear the Load (and I do often)
But I can get someone to do it for me
I sculpt visions into reality and mold them into dreams
Iíve no need to use my fists in anger (but I might)
Iíve bittersweet eyes for that
For looks can kill
Just as they can love
Mine can hold you in their swirling warmth
And give you the strength to be strong
With me
I can give all of myself to you should you need it
And you will have the power to walk through the jungle
And sleep with Giants
I could stretch your soul to greatness and ask
For no more than a foot rub afterward
But I could crush you.
I could do it with my pinky finger.
I could do it with a turn of my back.
Itís all in how you work it, the respect that is
For I have the power, I am woman
I brought you into this world
And I can take you out.
