The sky, the trees, the childlike streams
Dancing and frolicking playfully down the mountain slopes;
Finally merging together in the oneness of the lake.
Sharing their separate travels and experiences with one another,
And growing in the blending.
On its shores I walked with my friend, my lover,
Like two streamlets; sometimes merging,
Then taking their separate courses.
Each taking a part of the other with them,
Only to merge again, to share the separate experiences,
And to grow.
We were in tune with Nature,
Not dwarfed by the surrounding majesty,
But a part of it.
