You hit the nail on the head. Parents unknowingly teach their children bad habits by praising bad behavior and forgetting the good behavior is ignored.

I immediately thought of Psalm 73 when I read your poem. I like the point of view that you used- the voice of a child. Children have such a keen sense of justice and fairness.Enjoyed the imagery.Great poem!
