Thrillers & Chillers
by Billy Wells

No vampires! No werewolves! No boogeymen in these pages. For my readers who want stories with thrills, chills, and surprise endings, but not so horrific to keep them from..

thsnks to johnny rivers & mr. cash

on a cold dark night
someone was killed
'nith the dark moon light

no bodies know
no bodies see
but they all agreed
the killer looked a lot like me

so that book was read
and what was said
it be me

so they hung me
they buried me in these hills
and stills
she walks where she wills

in a long dak veil
her story to tell
oh well
'cause that night
when he lost his life
i was sleepin' with his wife

he was my best friend
from beginnin' to end
at least up to that end

but even tonight
she walk's these hills
in a long black veil
without our story to tell

'xcept for that night
i was in her arms
no fight
save from his harm

so she walks these hills
in a long dark veil
she visits my grave
that must be hell

to know
to show
there in your heart
that part was me
'specially when they hung me

i didn't kill him
i was with her
that was never heard

but she walks these hills
in a long dark veil

it never fail

she knows me
she shows me
a love so true

but 10 years ago
what was i to do
