In 2005, roughly 6.4 billion people populated the world.
It was estimated that 750 million(8.5%) didn't believe in God,
leaving 5.7 billion (91.5%) of the world population with many diverse religions and one common belief;
They believe in God.

Are we more similar than we are different?

Through adversity, the answer becomes apparent.

Those who believe in God will reach out to him,

begging and pleading with God to help them.

During their time of need,

God provides an invisible yet divine gift indeed.

It is through faith and shame,

I find in essence we are the same.

Exactly well said and so glad you got the statistics. It is nice to know so many believe in God now a days. We all have one God to help us, love us, guide us and lead us.

Hello Carroll,

"It is through faith and shame,

I find in essence we are the same."

This verse is beautifully expressed, as is the entire poetic express.
We indeed are the same.
