"...This is like Deja Vu All Over Again..."
---Yogi Berra---
|
Off the beaten path through Haena Kaua'i
Softly blowing gentle trading winds
And the gaze of those two hikers
Burdened with No Cares.
These two have hiked gladly out of the worries
To welcome the trail and themselves.
Together we step over the lava rocks over red dirt
Where wind, swaying trees, and bue ocean wed
Blue waves pushed gently, happiness held
The signals we have arrived
Harmony, they walk hands held and smiles adorn
40 years ago into the sun
Oh but a memory, I reach out to hold once more
Just loving this pretty girl and all the things and desires
This time, this place and feeling just grew
And the light passing breeze caress my pretty one
Rushing, I realize my long lost dream returns
Now together again for a short time
I am admiring and desiring the moment again...
