Silent Desperation

Just something I wrote when I was in a bad spot.

Forget the soul
forget the hope
forget the faith
forget the love

Silent desperation
runs through my veins
hiding in the shadows
joy passes me by

Hello dear friend
that of death
Blood red slashes
a sacrifice

Can't stop thinking
the end is near
Silent desperation
painfully deafening

It hurts
the pain
the loss
the love

Go on
you just have to
people die
to make life important

Importance
that of flesh
crimson lines
Silent desperation
