Cradle to Grave
In my infancy I was bound to the earth and awaited the unknown.
And my soul was a shining star whose cradle occupied the entire sky.
In my youth I discovered the river of life which flowed into the turbulent sea of emotion.
And my soul burned brightly, and its manger filled the heavens.
Now in the waning of my mortal life, I have struggled with the winds of change which have blown across fields of joy, but have also elevated the sands of pain into my eyes, and I have rubbed them only to fight against its blinding burrs.
But it has allowed me to see that my brilliant soul once thought to fill the heavens, was just a seed of light in the darkest soil of space, and whose beams will someday grow to reach beyond the far ends of time.
