Looking deep into ourselves

 180 degrees half moon smile

Contours that stimulate that which we simulate.

We visit oceans, arrogantly dining on their piers,

lounging there a waves crest and wash away our years.

We look at this living liquid, however we do not see,

the shores or the currents, or the deepest depths in thee.

Starfish and seahorse lay there on shore stage,

silly little sea urchin fill the blanks on sandy page.

Winds whip salty sea brine as sperm whales collide,

with spectacular beauty that is outside their inside,

and inside their outside.

If we could ever witness this natural wonder,

dark clouds would appear in endless numbers.

The sky would then open showing off its lightning and thunder,

but there would be no pillage, no plunder.

Only colorful light bursts and 180 degree half moon smiles,

leprechaun's gold and huge happy tears,

only ever seen from the wise and tender eyes.......................

of crocodiles.

For me, you painted surrealistic landscapes, full of texture, colour and imagination. Your pen makes an excellent brush for sure.

Many times we see without "seeing" and on those rare occassions that we do the heavens do open up, simply beautiful...
