I live inside a stained glass world
With softly colored lights

Golden hues of love, Blue hues of pain
Red lust shine through the night

I cannot see which color reflects hope
So blinded by the rest

I have sought its warm glow all my life
Its vision remains my test

I am marked by all of these permanent stains
Each holding a certain cast

Ever dynamic

Ever changing

Reflecting my future through my past

I have read some of your poems and this one is my favorite so far.
The last three lines are quite strong and bear universal meaning.

Best regards,

Symbolic and powerfully meaningful; truly I feel that I can relate to these emotive sentiments, Deborah. Thank you for sharing this offering. Welcome to AD. Love and peace to you,
