His Word Is Alive
Our Ziklag Times

My inspiration flows unceasingly from the Source of Life and Love -God.
I will write about You,
With my last breath I would.
Your Hand's upon my pen,
Your Words in mind again.
Tried to veer away from it,
Tried some drama and some wit,
But You are so persistent,
Gave the score for my content.
You will not let me go,
I plant Your Words, they will grow
In hearts of hardened soil so barren,
You draw them in, the souls of men.
Now is the time, now is the season,
To write Your Words that is the reason
This gift was given, it's for You.
Until the end...I would write about You.
"For it is God Who works in You, to will and to do according to His good purpose."

|This is a very touching and inspiring poem. "Until the end I will write for You" is a GREAT title for a book. It is in your heart Cynthia and you just have to put it on paper and share it with others.

|I would agree that writing, as a skill and done well, is a gift of imagination and flow that comes from something other than ourselves.
Although sometimes I think it is a curse, and not a blessing.
And I have the rejection letters to back that up...LOL!

|Dear Cynthia, How good to see you again and how beautiful to see you writing about the Almighty. In the Beginning is the Word and the Word is with God and God is the Word. Yes the Word of God is in your pen. Love Emile|

|Humble and pious poem as few haven't forgotten to Whom the thanks for the everyday their bread and inspiration should go and the little daily prayer.

|Excellent Write Cynthia
You are so right
Someone told me, "I was a fool"
who thought I could write
Or did they call me a buffoon
I related that conversation to my son
And he said, don't listen to them
they are just jealous
Writing like you do
"Is a gift from God"
And I must say to you Cynthia,
You are so blest with your writing
Love & peace be with you
