This was a quick poem I wrote on the morning McVeigh was put to death. I do not believe in the death penalty, however I do believe that the fate due an individual for their actions will most definitely come to pass in different forms.
So, in essence death may not have been good enough for him primarily because he had too much of a controlled position in knowing the exactness of his death as opposed to the babies and adults that had no chance to say "God Forgive Me" because the massacre against them was so abrupt.
So, truthfully, he should still be in jail, and subject to annual stonings by family members of the victims, until his skin decayed and the scars from the bludgeonous beating could no longer heal and therefore he developed
third stage skin and bone cancer which was immune to all pain remedies...
Alas, it is not an issue since he is gone now, but this would have been idea to me. At least I could know my tax dollars were finally being utilized for a good cause.
(DEATH OF MCVEIGH: SHARING MY THOUGHTS IN VERSE
June 11, 2001
Six years of personal holocaust
awakening daily with a crux of confusion
that challenges the fate of devout believers/
Life moving forwardly still, with no justice
in place for the wounded families
whose eyes flled with battery acid
are eaten by painful memories daily.
There is something really unfair about
planned assassins having so many
rights when they break all moral,
civil and legal codes to create
fresh scars that never heal.
While this master of his fate
and Captain of his soul
is allowed to know the day
he leaves this earth,
make amends quickly before
his spirit capsizes,
Say his prayers for forgiveness
before the cameras arrive/
It Bothers me that he could
be beside my daughter in heaven.
My tears are for the families.
Who had no choice
who lost irreplaceable
who had to save face
and keep living
like we all do when tragedy
kills those we love most
May God Bless you
and Your peace
is the blessing
from this day on...
(In Memory of the families
whose lives were changed forever
by this Beast society is making
a notorious icon in this warped world)
