Love and Peace

This is the way it is going to be
This is what I see
Retaliation is what it's all about
From a long distance I hear a shout
Little kids waking up to sorrow
Mothers praying their child will live to
see tomorrow.
The worlds pain will flow steep
While our anger will fall deep
Kids will ask the question; Why?
Young men will be telling the their parents
goodbye!
Tears that flow long will be the only rain
But love for your family members will be only
part of your pain.
The only solution that will make this go away
Will be to kneel down and pray
My will to live is more than I can bear
But my life is the only thing I have to spare.

Very well said. The hopelessness and dispair comes through, yet a sliver of hope is still out there to reach for....

Be safe,
Karen
