Ten Little Piggies
by CJ Heck

Ten little piggies
wiggling in a line
my mom and daddy tell me
the piggies all are mine!

One by one Mom touches them,
every piggy gets a name,
and then a place he goes to.
I really love this game!

When Mommy sings the song
I can see the piggies wiggle.
and when Mommy kisses them,
it makes me smile and giggle!

When the game is over,
we tuck them in their socks.
Hmmm ... just how many piggies
does a mom and daddy gots?

Another cute one, CJ. I know some little piggies who don't like to be confined in any sock...left or right!

God Bless
Lots of love
Happy Canadian Thanksgiving to you...

CJ, are the children's poems you've been posting lately included in your "Barking Spiders" book of poetry? This one is simply adorable, and I have a new mother who might enjoy reading this sort of poetry to her new baby son...please let me know...Michelle

This is so cute...these writes would make a wonderful little book of know the kind that you find in the gift shops at hospitals. I can imagine a very small book about a 3x3 blue gingham, or pink with a tie closure...filled with these beautiful poems...I would buy one! Would make an excellent, gift, for new mother's.
