|Michael, I have been listening to your music, and it is very meaningful, often haunted by waves of sorrow ~
I think it is beautiful ~ and the dedication you wrote of the mother Osprey is an image I hold now, very eternal.

|Yes, I believe animals feel basic human emotions like grief, loss and that they know the difference between winning out and losing against man and Nature.
I believe that as well. And I am often in awe of the osprey I observe in the northwood. Your Ode to a Fallen Bird is wonderful.

|that is so sad about the osprey, and for you to observe it too...we had a wicked spring storm here this year also - so much hail fell it killed a newborn fawn - the neighbor found it the next morning...the mother doe hung around for days...I agree for those humans that take the time to observe wildlife, the nature world will reflect emotions of all kinds...|

You've captured the spirit of the Osprey in beautiful, compassionate music - well done.
