To The Moon

To the moon
Someday soon
Forest of azure
Lurking and seeking
Betting and preaching
Always forgotten
Not so rotten
The ways and the means
The curling fading, blissful trees
Once again we will wake the town
Up all night gathering sounds
The river flows gently with the soul
The apocalypse is now
I am here and forever so cold

I could hear the sounds from the trees as I read this and see the river flowing in my soul. This is good writing.
