The Go Ahead Salmon

the merry men of idleness
in mists of silver gray
intoxicating indigestion
above the belly stay
I want the taste out of my mouth
and out onto the floor
and when exposed unto my mess
I'll sample a little more
I know there is a world out there
that is yet to be seen
I reach out to the one in front of me
and am limited by a screen.
yet my ass will budge not once
and ocean anchor, lead.
and so the the guppies stay, and fall for it.
the salmon go ahead.

A poem that takes a few reads. That's the way they all should be. IMpressive and cryptic.
