Walking one morning I suddenly awaken.
A joy springs forth in the steps I’ve taken.
Colors seem to call out my name.
Sounds break forth, no longer tame.
I am seized in what must surely be
Pure bliss found only in ecstasy.
Tingling appears in all my limbs,
As accepted reality slowly dims.
Mountains and valleys begin to speak,
Babbling brooks are now chatty creeks.
Everything that’s happening is by design -
I’ve finally merged with the loving Divine.
