A taste from my upcoming book "When a Woman Loves a Man"
...stay tuned

When you said my name
 and held my hand
when you touched my face
 and kissed my lips
when you told all your friends
that I was your girlfriend
and that I may be the one
when you called me late at night
to say goodnight for the one hundredth time
when you went down on one knee
with that ring you made by yourself
when I said yes, when we said I do
when you carried our daughter in your arms
and saw me in her eyes
when you stayed
even when it was easier to let go
when you saw my flaws
and called them beautiful
when you say my name today
and it feels like the first time
when you touch my face
and kiss my lips...

Only one who is truly loved and knows it can write with such a romantic touch it brings tears to my eyes with its tenderness.

Hey, any man who can do this to you is definitely a "keeper."

I love it, Bernice!

He call one hundred times. He say his love many times. This poem is a beautiful poem about real love. The man telling his woman about love is very good. You write so very well, form, structure and feeling. A poem minus and problems.
A rose and no thorns is a true wife. Beautiful.

You captured the beauty of true and everlasting love in this one Bernice and with lines such as number nine about saying good night a hundred times and line thirteen about carrying your daughter and seeing you in her eyes, say sooooooo much. Beautiful poetry.
