the soul sees

declaration overriding

subtle affinity

the spirit sees

a glimpse of your image

in passionate attraction

the body sees

a bookmark displaying

a watercolor sailboat

masts are full and billowing

the lucid self sees

your mouth on my shoulder

and fingers twirling my hair

the sleeping self sees

a fragment dream

rearranging the bedroom furniture

the morning eyes see

a black feather bird

sitting on the wrought iron fence

he is chirping at the water
