ultimately it’s no one else’s fault
it never is, but blame is so ingrained
you did what?
instantly the mind whirls with
emotional perspective
layered by personal experience
social expectation and cellular
imbedded programming
doesn’t it all sound exhausting
in the speed of light
you’ve completely altered your
entire frame of mind, physical
sensation, and growth of spirit
who knew…
we were taught in various subtle ways
like forgiveness, the golden rule, karma
but in the fast paced modern world
those are moments at best when
you can remember to see with a higher consciousness
and usually its after the fact, upon reflection
rather in the actual moment of occurrence
my, my…
that gut instinct, fight or flight thats cellular
programming coming right out of our survival
evolution certainly we can rise above the lifestyle
of cavemen, can’t we?
or how about social expectation
where judgment, peer pressure,
and “what will they think” comes haunting
why does it matter? children blurt and gush truth and we
laugh at the beautiful innocence and freedom
to say what they are expressing in the moment
knowing full well, most children do not express with
intent to harm another and feel deeply wounded if it happens
because instinctively the higher consciousness knows better
and the young ones are still so close to that goodness
probably the biggest of all
when it comes to blame knowing
our personal physical experience has
rewired our brains and subsequent
chemistry causing triggers of fears
insecurity, lack of love, pain, illness, etc

you’ll spiral right out of common sense
anger, frustration, and irritation
split forward and you, in the game of life
on planet earth have only proven you are still
the cause and not the affect and it doesn’t matter
what they said or did that put you in this mad state
all that currently matters is your
awakening to your highest human good
learning to control your emotions, and
how to use your mind to your best well being
it is possible to pause in the face of blame
step out of the program just by being aware of it
and then let it pass
without resistance, without attack, without repercussion
because if you can learn to handle the small things
in your life, just think what the world can handle with the big
everything is interconnected, and each small act affects the
greater whole
we are in a new time, a pre-dawn to a new resonance, and
we create by moving forward
its really quite exciting to observe the miracles
you’ll see..
you’ll begin to notice…

You have managed to expose to the light of day, the usual inner workings of the human mind and brought some clarity to our often murky feelings. I especially liked where you wrote "children blurt and gush truth and we laugh..." part. That is so true. From a fellow occupant of this 21st century, thanks for the advise Debby.

Tis a voice that has been silenced, marginalized, censored, banished, etc etc for a few thousands of years - not heard often enough so i'll pop back to read this from time to time -it's great! Nicky xx

Philosophical and spiritual in nature - a well constructed write that takes the reader along on the writers magic carpet through layers of cognitive reasoning. Intelligently conceived. Enjoyed!

Nick work, Debby....the world is a time caught up within itself at times, and it takes the inner strength and insight to see past the everyday blame game and or guilt trip mentality...once one has de-programmed their minds, everything begins to be exposed in a very different way.
It could be age, or wisdom, or just the fact that the acceleration of thought is changing at a pace beyond the expectations of each individual, either way once the individual can see past, or visualize beyond the norm, then the acceptance or the process of exposed truth creates a whole new beginning.

I like this work...

very nice...

Had to read this one twice with first coffee, could barely focus, let alone absorb this material...but it rings so true. Good job.

You have built this well to a stunning conclusion, Debby. The last 9 lines are full of impact and hit home with me. Suppressed anger over a long period of time works loose in the end, and results in disproportionate reactions to relatively minor situations. It's good to keep the slate clean as we go, to prevent the stagnant build up that ultimately explodes. At the moment, I don't feel I can handle even the minutest things... On a global scale, this is ruinous... Thank you for holding up this mirror... Love, Kate xx
