Music: Suzanne Teng - Miles Beyond

life is a feeling...

each experience realizes

the subtle energy of the activity

then releases into/upon reality

where does the energy go

once released? I asked the

white crowned sparrows who fluttered near

and listened to the mallard fluff her wings

allowing the presence of patience

to feel response as I gazed the snow covered

mountain to my west and felt the warm

sunrays upon my bare arms

our sun star was pulsing waves of light and coding

into and upon the existence I was contemplating

knowing further the air around me was alive

with the very energy I was contributing

upon its pattern mingling and merging in waves

its reality concept intricately designed

at times so thick an existence of unique consciousness

was smothered and its frequency cloaked

perhaps by fears of distant memories lingering

upon shadows of multiple possibilities

and other times when joy so immense it could not be contained

within its boundaries and overflowed with intensity

tinkling wind chimes give tone of awareness

fluffy seeds fell from the birch trees

scattering in layers of caterpillar down

all the while the internal temperature of this

physical form increased as my thoughts

coalesced into gratitude and compassion

energies were running, and mathematical codes

were infusing the atmosphere, my ears

began ringing with a vibrating hum

of celestial potential and quietly

I anchored a key of greater dimension

such a liberating and holistic write, Debby. I like how you interweave hard-edged linear concepts, like algebra and maths, with the fluffy edges of the tenderness of nature; the conceptual with the sensual and emotional. Most certainly a mind-stretcher and heart-pounder! TY Kate xx

Your such an interesting, unique AD poet for discussing our real INNER world truths and powers that we often ignore but which DO build our outer worlds - and I like the context you set these revelations in: often sprinkling these insights with the "real" world physical details of your poetic locale or what you're doing at the moment. Like here: "tinkling wind chimes give tone of awareness
fluffy seeds fell from the birch trees
scattering in layers of caterpillar down"

Those kind of details add such lovely layers to your poems yet never detract from it's hidden and obvious messages... in fact they enhance it. Looking forward to next time...
best, michael

I will say that the "subtle energy" can be found in the marvelous world of Debby, where one don't hear a shout in anger and man doesn't hurt a living thing.
I wish that our world had a little bit of Debby's world, then we could live without sorrows and without tears.
