many have experienced

the moment, the spark

the instant enlightenment

a fleeting glimpse

and wondrous glory into the

connection to all that is and its incredible bliss

then spend the rest of their

life seeking to experience it again

many have never experienced

the moment, the spark

and spend the rest of their

life seeking this experience

neither realizing the purity of the truth

which is

you are already enlightened

you are already all that is

you are already magnificent

and at will you are able to experience

this oneness

that is the truth that sets one free

this is how its done

this is how its always been done

stop seeking and just become

To just be....I've thought and used this phrase often in my work...at times, it's simple....and at others, it's difficult. I think, there are times in life when we feel pushed to the limit, and when we want to toss in the towel...and I think it's okay to feel that way for a time...it's what we do next that's important. Yes, just be...but there are times when it's important to not only just be, but to move ahead. Beautifully written....your work is a true inspiration.

Perhaps, and I can be wrong here, but it would seem to me the first thing one must do to 'become' is to lose ego. Wise words.

ah, but revelation is the key!!! all our understanding is a locked box unless we are enlightened to the Truth which then releases the power from within. Here you equip us with the key to becoming. thank you! And personally, i believe The Spark is God! :)) xx

This is a very inspiring and uplifting piece, Debby. I am one with you in the belief that we need not look and seek elsewhere for that glimpse of heaven because it is just within us, in our hearts where truth resides. Blessings to you. Thank you for sharing.

Best wishes,
Sheri

You are right Debby, but what defeats those who don't know it, is that they can't bring themselves to believe in this truth.so they don't "become" Hopefully your enlightened poem will help them experience the "Spark"!

Eileen

I keep trying to become but this aging body keeps telling me that I am headed for death and a transition that is very dependant on the choices that I made in this life. Your work inspires thought Deddy. I hope that all is well.

Just BE--the incredible miracle that you are and unique in the universe.
How can this be so hard, yet so simple? Because we take to heart the criticism we hear throughout our lives and our own negative self-talk that not only blocks our creativity but that precious "spark". Wonderful write, Debby, and very timely ;)! Blessings, Lin
