the ocean's immense
and the sky is forever
the wind howls unrelenting
and you say, I'm not there

I've seen you in the sky
and saw you swim the ocean
and felt you in the wind
how can it be, you are not there?

my dearest one, "look within"
where dreams reside
pull yourself out of the oceans tide
and dance into the joy you are

replace melancholy
with the beauty of alive
filling full your lungs
with life's perfumed garden

where kisses rain like valentines
where lashes brush on silken thighs
where love whispers love cheek to cheek
because your heart says I'm always there inside
