The melancholy melody mesmerizes me Depression deepens - hopes dim, Moody moaning guitars crying Dark bass riffs whisper a secret rhythm A siren’s wail caresses my soul A dark diva dying just for me Pondering the pain of pandemonium Dreaming of what must not be Tears trickling toward the ground Sadness seeps sweetly into my mind This black anthem - death and despair Life’s end - the final stillness of the mind
