My arms enfold her gently
I breathe a sigh of content
The world exactly as it should be
This woman that Heaven sent

I love you, I say to this angel
I love you, too, is her reply,
But this I really must know
Before any vows draw nigh.

I need to know if youll hurt me
Like the one I had before.
Because of love like that
It has left my heart so sore

I turned to her and said
With all my heart and love,
I would never be like him.
I swear it on Heaven above.

I would die before causing you pain.
Id kill any who would do harm.
I love you more than life itself.
I am completely under your charm.

Then I looked at her and smiled
Feeling in my heart the love,
I promise to love you always
And to never hurt you, on Heaven above.
