Wrote this during a hard time. But, Praise the Lord all is well now. thought I'd share. Hope you enjoy.


Spin clock quickly now, don’t delay,

Carry the Princess through each day,

Speed her along with out delay,

Towards her wedding day.


Speed clock those hands around your face,

I beg you please step up the pace,

If it helps, I’ll look away,

So you can move faster through the day.


Fire sun your arc across the sky,

Shine on those below as you fly,

Bring light and color and warmth her way,

And let pass each day as fast as they may.


Fly sun into the days retreat,

And moon you move with equal speed,

Across the night sky to mornings start,

Speed her closer to her heart.


Twelve days, twelve nights,

Are all that now remain,

So please clock and sun speed them by,

And from slowing or stopping do refrain.


Blow, wintry wind non-stop,

Flip the calendar pages quickly now,

Complete will be the breaking of my heart,

And maybe I’ll find relief from this pain.

I can't understand "2007 - 1 title - 6 reviews" Wha hoppen?
Be that as it may, I am captured by your poem, love the style of your sentences, and think your treatment of the topic is unique. It also arouses great sympathy for your heartbreak.
