Advice for the Bride
Lift one foot, advance and put it down,
Hold your head still don't look around,
Not too fast just take your time,
There is no rush you're first in line.
Watch your step, please don't trip,
If your nervous take a sip,
Of something stout before you start,
But not enough to have a change of heart,
If folks start crying it's because they're happy,
And weddings have a way of making people sappy,
If the groom cries it's 'cause he just took a raking,
For that fat honeymoon you two will be taking,
When the preacher says "boy, kiss that pretty young thang"
You'll know it's almost done,
and won't you be so happy then,
happy that you didn't run!
