I wrote a series of poems for a friend of mine who was getting married.
This day we have each been given,
To make what we can of every minute that passes,
We all try to live a life worth living,
And someday rise above the masses,
To enjoy the blessings of these days.
But there is bittersweet sadness amongst the ranks,
For what ought to be a happy affair,
