This poem was wrote for a young brother who is serving a life sentence in Angola State Prison in Louisiana. He made the wrong decisions/choices and now he is paying with a life sentence. Our young people must learn the consequences of their actions!

"Feel My Pain"

I canít see
Someone has taken my light
I walk around in the dark
Fists balled up ready to fight
I canít feel my mother
Someone has taken her out of my sight
I yearn for a hug
I scream with all my might
I canít sleep
You see, someone has taken my rights
Even though Iím down on both knees
I know I still have life
My prayers were bitter
But now they are sweet
GOD can hear all my words
Even before I begin to speak
I canít eat
I have lost my appetite
The food is cooked with no love
The seasoning is not done right
Where is that light of mine
Shine it on me real bright
I will find my own way out, hands together
Ready to make things right

FELL MY PAIN!!!
