|The feel of this poem is intensely sensual, as though a beast is unleashing its preternatural powers on an unsuspecting prey. Even the flow is beguiling and the imagery tantalizing. Nicely done.|

|As is often the case in matters of the heart, one flashes a bedeviling smile and never knows at the time the fire they've ignited. Is it any wonder then, "She didn't see me coming"?
An interesting poem, Richard, about what we see with our eyes but don't perceive with our mind. I like your characterization, "Like the trap of a hunter unsuspecting."
Obviously, when you see people you see more of them than just their flesh.
