You and Me
djbeaulieu
Oh lonely person in an alienated sea
what causes so much trouble for you and me?
Is not Nature and her way enough for you and me?
Oh how lonely – when we alienate ourselves to a savage sea?
When we spin ourselves dizzy; so fast, so fast --
when we blind ourselves with love, intimate love.
We loose our way, so often, while traveling life’s path.
Is there no love in our hearts from the One above?
Are we the forgotten ones, you and I?
Why do we feel that we are going to die?
Let’s stand up, you and me, and seek God’s way,
the way of truth and light, like a natural ray.
He gave us a will, the right to choose.
Let’s choose to drown our troubles in man’s alienated sea.
Let’s choose to smile, to fly instead of die – to “purely” be!
The truth of God will always set you free
