For our preacher and his smart remarks, who is now old like the rest of us.

Now you've made your forty, Now like us you're old. No longer will we have to hear, Your aging jokes so cold. If you dare to tell them, Be real sure of your aim. 'Cause now they're deadly bullets, Graven with your name. You can't believe that forty, Would take your youth away. Time won't be your friend, Or lend an extra day. Welcome to our club, Your're here until you die. Each new ache and pain, Will make you moan and cry. Tomorrow you'll be older, With nothing left to lose. Live a joyful life, It's there for you to choose. 8.21.98  Copyright 2007
