The intent of this poem is obvious. :)

No point in a précis.

By Jim Dunlap

Savor every flying moment you’re alive –
The writing’s on the wall for all to read.
It’s not fallacy that just the strong survive.

So that luck smiles on chances you contrive,
Act yourself, but don’t just stand and plead.
Savor every flying moment you’re alive.

The outcome rests on just how hard you strive –
If your goal’s a harvest, plant the seed.
It’s not fallacy that just the strong survive.

Where flowers die, a weed may thrive –
And hope revives with a strong faith and creed.
Savor every flying moment you’ve alive.

Don’t covet anything achieved, till you arrive –
Many come to grief from their own greed.
It’s no fallacy that just the strong survive.

Success comes from a special kind of drive –
Avoid wars and strife, and you won’t bleed.
But savor every flying moment you’re alive –
It’s no fallacy that just the strong survive!

Very perceptive poem, and I agree that strength is necessary, but I also believe, where we get our power from will determine our eternity...
