and separation
I see love
and connection
Your kisses were soft
and sweet
leaving me breathless
at your feet
Your silky black hair
blowing in the wind
turned my attention
in your direction
Our purpose
here together
to gain confidence
in each other
It was your choice
to leave
I wanted you to stay
you wouldn't listen
to anything I had to say
You see color
and separation
I see love
and connection
