Sometimes I forget
That you feel that way
So depressed
So alone
How could you try this?
You sat alone
The knife dangling in your hands
You waited to see if anyone would stop you
Then you dug the blade in
Fifty stitches
To heal the wounds you made
The stains are still there
On your floor
On your clothes
On the knife you used
I was never mad
I was never disappointed in you
I was only depressed
That'd you try to rob us of you
Where you are now, I don't know
How you're doing, is a mystery to me
But when you come back
Tell me, to rest my roiling mind
Why'd you do it?
Why'd you even try? |
