I woke from a bizzare dream-
terrorist were using mind control with medications by being doctors...

The Spade of Lies

Lecture the crags of rebute;
Beat the canes of guile;
Lambaste lives in a heathen;
Drain the wells of your denial…

Crest this subdued alter;
Chasten the voice of demise;
Pierce the tongue of regret;
Chastise the spade of lies…

Chide the body of burdens;
Release censures condemnations;
Fueling the hungered deviant beast;
Breeds to impute blaming vexations…

"Chide the body of burdens;
Release censures condemnations;
Anger’s blame breeds to impute;
over & over & over again
a thirsty hungry beast."

"Anger's blame breeds to impute". This is a way cool verse Vickie. Prevaricators are an insidious lot. My father always told me that the one and only thing we have of worth to offer our fellow human beings, is our credibility. Without it, all else is baseless. Your excellent poem supports that premise quite fully I believe. Thanks for sharing your great talent with us. Jon Michael Willey

Oh, this will be scary!!!! a nightmare! an abomination....God help us that something like that never comes to pass...

Intense but then again if it was inspired or enduced from that nightmare I can see why. Very well done though Vick just the same...intense.

In the chaotic and uncertain state of the world in which we live, it is not surprising that such a condition could give rise to nightmares. Effectively expressed and shared experience, Vickie. Love and hugs,

Victoria, Some intense dreaming going on! You really should think much more romantic thoughts before going to sleep! This is very intense and very mind opening!
Much peace, love, and light

Why that shovel make me think of a lot of bull...
In our human zoo, yes, it should be a sign telling everybody not to feed the politicians.

Victoria, I do not find your dream so bizarre. Terrorists come in all shapes and sizes. Some of them smile a lot as they spin their webs of doom. Sort of reminds me of a non-biblical saying: "Vengeance is mine sayeth the survivors." You covered a lot of ground with this poem, and did a very excellent job.

Happier dreams to you!

Ted
