Come To The Lord's Alter

To Kneel and Amend

I was silence
At one time
A whisper in your ear
The thought of an idea
The call of visions unclear

I came to you in the quiet medleys
The gallant might of moon beams shone
Across the empyrical sky through infinity
There the froth of sunrise rose

Beyond the canyons of all desperations
Within the caverns of secret's burrow lain
The mass of shadows fortune arose the thunder
offering me to pour out the sacrisity of rain

A meager self wrought giver
Through the son of a thousand men
Beneath this grave of sorrow's grievance
I call upon your soul to kneel and amend

The longing and ache in this one reaches out and squeezes the heart of the reader till we can feel the pain of it all. Very intense Vick and bleeding like an open wound.
