Within The Very Blessings of a Current Moment...Memories Last Forever

I See You…

I peered into a rivers stream;

Looking upon the ripples edge…

I seen a memory of you my love;

Walking within avowals pledge…

I gazed upon your heart of promises;

Lingering within gracility’s heart…

Looking upon the eventide of sapphires;

I reached for my lost soul to impart…

Concealed within the chambers of my spirit,

I see you every single day…

Embracing the bodice of our deep love;

Where promises do not slip away…

No other destiny could I ever see;

Peering endlessly upon this rivers stream…

From deep inside my ripples edge;

For you I still continue to dream…

"Looking upon the eventide of sapphires"
"Embracing the bodice of our deep love"

A nicely penned poem. I really enjoyed those two lines, they are very poetic.

As is expressed in your line .... "Lingering within gracility’s heart…" you also allow the reader a moment of elegance and beauty of movement and expression. Once again poetess, with seemingly effortless panache, you take the reader through delicious and sensual imagery to expound on your souls vision.
Delightfully constructed.

Victoria,

Such a beautiful poem written so well. But how sad, sitting on a river bank not with your love but merely dreaming. Enjoyed.
