~Dark Poetry October~
Romantic Poetess is under Vaulted Lock & Key for October...
And for Darkles Veils Within The Quietus Shadows Trespassing Upon My Dark Muse I offer: "Scalar's Heart"...

style="width: 369px; height: 736px" border="0" "Photobucket" width="514" height="871" src="http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/mm317/vickiemccolley/DSC_2528-2.jpg" />

Scalar’s Heart

Aphotic shroud of nettled hidden emotion;
Gathering before the eve of hallows moon;
Cinder’s wind spurs into the cinereal souls;
Threshing to barter the timorous loon…

Harvest willows cast root to soils of sin;
Bound by the curse of tellurian clay;
Spreading thistles weeping hording timber;
To build gallows trestle upon judgments day…

Offering the secrets of the runnels trespass;
A pouring of goads opened herculean gates;
Evading the bistered traps of waters depths;
They chanted sacrilege from their salacious sates…

Bound to tumultuous cliffs of vitriolic destitution;
They sordidly gathered upon the harvesting orbs;
Piercing ingrate into the scalar’s heart of destruction;
Aphotic shrouds unveil the darkened emotions it absorbs…

with the depths of darkness as my shroud of hidden spies:
Dark Poetry October 2009
In Anguish, In Vengeance, In Menace, In Discordance of Lust…
Or was that supposed to be Love?

Wow, what a tale, bordering on the macabre and so fitting for this time of year. You have such command....

A picture painted of a darken day's night,
so vivid within doom of it's gloom,
Da Vinci's code I must assume:)
Rembrandt, Picasso and Van Gogh,
travel in this place that you know.
But your beautiful art has stolen the show.

My hats off to you Victoria!

wow spooky! your dark side is certainly getting a hold on your inspiration,
Spreading thistles weeping hording timber;
To build gallows trestle upon judgments day…
such dark thoughts creating a sombre mood to chill the soul,
and freeze the bones.
i need some hot choclate now.
