This morning waking
I heard her say…
“I don’t want to be a walk-in closet”
Removing the door hinges for her I said:
“Let’s visit with our dancing skeletons…”

The sparrows sing…

…and there upon the eve of morn
she became a moment immersed in time
When the truth of acceptance unveils herself
she is a mighty essence of resilient presence
She removes the shadows from searching hearts
She may cast herself out into the ebon of darkness
But sable eyes can see her path of luminous jewels
She elucidates the uncertainty of hidden questions
Those silent thoughts covered by the visor of any man
She allows us to see into the purest of crystal visions
This clarity of intuitive reflection in elemental waters
We see the calm ripples of tranquility emanating
within quietude of our awareness calling
We listen within the purity of her stillness
Announcing the guardian of our hearts’ voice
…balance
her name is Love…

The sparrow sing...like a soul in a cocoon of feathers giving voice to a little dream, your poem should had been told in a peaceful Japanese garden to someone tenderly loved.

The writing's on the wall. Calligraphy belongs out of the closet in full view of love's translator competing with the ebullient birdsong. Interpretation is smoked out, through bamboo, spice, incense, herbal tea, chimes and India ink, what we have here is a rite of passage...Romantic Poetess Victoria L. McColley crosses over to a marketable genre, a spillover of her alternative enticements. In evolutionary terms, The Sparrows Sing represents ancient lineage arriving under Nature's canopy of diversity. This work suggests it has existed for thousands of years and now has been brought to Light under new circumstances...[Sage Sweetwater, Celebrity Firebrand Lesbian Novelist]

The pulse quickens at the approach of your work...
Then slows without thought- carried on the spell you weave...
Until I land...
Home.
