Vickie, thanks for sharing these tidbits of wisdom -- here is another that I am partial to -- "is binn beal 'na thest" (a silent mouth is melodious), my father had to repeatedly remind me of this --peace and love be always with you --Jon Michael

Love that picture, sadly Alice In Wonderland gave me the bad dreams as a child and so doubt if I will go see new version...no one to hold my hand when I get scared. The wisdom of the phrases though are timeless and true...

all very true words spoke with wisdom but will we utilise that wisdom? maybe politicians should be made to read these wise words.
