Incense of Raw Aloeswood
They sought for centuries atop the bulbous roof gardens
where climacteric grapery vines blossom with fertile fruits;
Deciduous woody vines growing with plump succulents
dandling colorful oval berries with nectarous honeyed juices…
Wildwoods canvassed their unchaste fleshy eroticisms
which they planted within the nudities of their virgin forests;
Shining illuminate lanterns lit with pine-tar oil they caressed…
Burning infusive incense of raw aloeswood they sat with stillness
sipping upon herbaceous tea leaves steeped with cinnamomum bark;
Delicately releasing purifications breath upon the smoky swirls
into their healing balms of consciousness they further expand…
