Silver Shoes & Silver Tongues
I used to wear silver shoes
Walking tightropes for love’s promise
Buried within sculpting rainbows
Chasing dreams with shooting stars
Nacreous moons spied upon my body
Walking with the rain upon stormy nights
Over the avowing canopy of nobility and forever
Knowing eternal presence resides evermore cast…
Deeper inside the pools of a lovers heart and soul
I walked with devotions seeking to know emotions wing
In my silver shoes for decades upon tightropes brow
Plucking at whispers spellbinding magic
Dancing with halos in stilettos seductive lace
and perfuming essences upon pleasures sweet flesh…
Falling far into the passions of what I had hoped to find
I seen you…standing there
as zephyrs kissing the lavender hued sky
Your arms the prowess of all tomorrows beautiful bouquets
and your desires were more than silver tongues weeping alone
As barefoot I now dance beholden with you
and your intimacy revealing your own silver shoes…
