honesty is a beautiful balm to any wounded heart...
as I see the bouquet of your soul...
this is for you...

Certitude of Promise

...and I laid
amid the gardens
of your soul
where I reveled
inside the passions
of your desire.
I listened
to your heart beating
as your emotional bouquets
invited me to look deeper
into your essence...

...and deeper I came
with abandon
to be closer
to you
looking even further
than I have ever seen
or ever wanted to for another...

...and I submerged myself
with the certitude of promise
peering into your pooling eyes
as I reached
with the motility
of my being
glancing beneath the chambers
of your secret wounds
where you locked away
the distant chances
of your needs
and your dreams
of wanting to know
love's touch
or was it your hope
I gazed upon
in the silence of sorrow
as I reached with truth
to hold your scars
with the balms
of gentle tenderness?
