Angler

Piscatorial pirate
Seafarer through time
Trolling within lures
Baited promises arrive…

Hook line and sinker
Angler reveals intention
Along thoughtless shores
Blinded by self contention…

nice pairings in this one, Vickie... and a chilling sense of irony to wrap it up... or is it... the ellipses work well to hint at what is yet unsaid... elegant and elusive... caustic and cryptic... need I say more?
