She

imagines life  as

a bridge…

an expansive space

linking the past

to the present….

a bridge of hope

and desire,

too often

destroyed

in

becoming

and

although

a piece of the

puzzle

may become lost,

many more are

 found

on the journey –

slowly

shaping the now,

into its

future.

Understanding the bridge into the future let alone successfully finding it. Your poem illustrates a quiet contemplation that usually is the bridge to fulfilled life........Jerry

Dawn - Enjoyed The Road to There. Liked how you begin the poem with:
She

imagines life as

a bridge…

an expansive space

linking the past

to the present….

and end it with:

slowly

shaping the now,

into its

future.

This poem reminds the reader of that song, Bridge over troubled waters, and that the pasture is greener on the other side, or what can be called ...hope.
