On Aug 25,2005 the rain came down on Atlanta to remind us that God is still alive...

Two years later not much has been done

 Bush claims he appropiated funds

Funny cause ain't nobody recieved none

Bush congratulated Brownie who had no knowledge of disasters

He was fired two days later for causing a disaster

These times we're living in is a sign of things to come

Its all in the Bible, Revelations any chapter, pick one

I'm not making this up read it for yo'self

My people have strength when there ain't nothing left!

I feel blessed to have expeirenced the crescent city

Drank a blue Daquri on the Mississippi River

It was oh so pretty In my heart New Orleans will rise again

And the lower 9th ward they'll be singing again

It still amazes how this all took place in front of our eyes

In these United States, under these friendly skies

KATRINA WE WILL NEVER FORGET

I love the optimism in your words that New Orleans will rise again. It's my deep belief that God is ready to help us up when we fall. I don't read Revelation as a prediction of doom, but as encouragement when things are bad.

The government did not cause the storm, but you're right, their response was slow in coming. And the recovery is just as slow...doesn't help that many won't pick up a hammer to help rebuild. Sad...an excellent write.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
