There is no place like home for Christmas

The weather is nice, but nippy
as we stroll down old Church Street
We hear the bells
as they herald in Christmas Eve
All of the smiling faces of everyone we meet
makes it even more special
to be in Charleston on Christmas Eve
And if you are very lucky
you'll see the boat parade
with lights all strung, on masts they're hung
As they sail down the waterway
A ride in a horse drawn carriage
down Broad Street on Christmas night
Is my favorite memory
of Charleston at Christmas time
So if you wonder where to find me
If you wonder where I'll be
I'm so lucky to call it home
I'll be in Charleston on Christmas Eve!
