A poet's way of telling her family and friends, present and past, that she misses them.

You cradled me in your arms
a baby I knew only of your love,
As a child you nurtured me,
You were picked for me from above.

Your forever in my heart, reminding
me of everything I'm suppose to do,
I love you Mom and Dad, and it is
often that I miss you.

You were the strongest people in my life,
You all could walk on water I thought,
Your love was true , my aunts and uncles,
Your love couldn't be bought.

Your children was best friends of mine,
though sometimes we fought it's true ,
I look back through the tears and sigh
I miss you.

My brothers and sisters company kept me
from going insane,
Though growing up was sometimes such
a pain.

It was my siblings who kept my feet on
the ground and kept my heart true ,
You play around in my heart as if we were
still children, I miss you.

I married, though I thought I never would
cross that line,
You held me when times were hard, you were
my rock, I was so glad you were mine.

You gave me two children, that I adore,
It's my eternal link to you, so true ,
And when I need you most, your still here
holding my hand, and I still miss you.

Then when I needed it most, you sent someone
to me,
So I wouldn't walk this life alone and
be lonely.

And one more child was born to me making
my life complete thru and thru,
My family is everything to me and a lot
of times I still miss you.

My grandparents left too soon, they made
this world go 'round,
They made me stand back on my feet
when I had fallen to the ground.

They were often misunderstood, though
I loved them so true ,
They are now my guiding light and I
often miss you.

I am so proud of our family name, it
is our link to each other eternally,
And the younger ones will keep it
going, it is their destiny.

They will grow strong and brilliant,
shining our light so true ,
And often I look back at those times
and I miss you.

No matter where you go in life, you
will forever be playing in the feilds
of my mind,
And when our paths cross again I hope
that greetings we will find.

I bless the day that you all came into
my life, you know that is so true ,
I thank God I am part of this family,
and I often miss you....I miss you.
